Teeny Weenie or Mini Vag-J J?

It's been a while since we posted any updates.  Both Ali and the baby are doing very well.  Still no sickness or unpleasantries associated with pregnancy.  Ali just started to show a few weeks ago (pictures to be posted at a later date) and is generally excited about being pregnant and the idea of having a little one running around the house soon.  

Today was THE big day (well, actually Big Day No. 2) for our first 'real deal' ultrasound and the unveiling of whether we are having a little boy or a little girl.  Mom was voting for a girl and I, like most other men in the universe, was voting for a boy.  Either way, we are both happy with a healthy baby (who doesn't cry or poop too much).  We unfortunately were banned from taking photos in the examination room because 'It's against the Rules'!  I'm not one for rules and tried to overpower the poor technician with logic, but to no avail.  So we will have to settle for the two print outs they provided.

It was pretty cool to see how much movement takes place at only 18 weeks!  We were able to clearly see the heart beat, watch the baby roll around, move it's arms, and open it's mouth all on command!  Most proud parents think their child is the 'smartest & cutest', but I think today's activity prove that we may have a Rhodes Scholar or Nobel Laureate on our hands!!
