Kidneys

Zach's dad, Dave, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was 9 years old. Thankfully he's lived a happy and healthy life up until about a year ago when his kidneys were starting to fail him. Dave was put on the transplant list and though it was a long shot, Zach's mom, Kathy, started the process to see if she was a match. After months and months of testing, amazingly she was! We flew out on Nov 29th and they both went in for the for the removal/transplant on Dec 1st. Kathy has given Dave the ultimate gift and I'm happy to report that they are both doing well and feeling better each day.

Ellery's aunt, uncle and cousins drove down from Dallas to support D & K. We had a mini birthday celebration for Mollie who turns 3 on Dec 18th. Happy Birthday Mollie!!...
