Some forgotten February pics...

Valentines Day...

Claire could have picked any theme to celebrate her birthday and she chose to have a cocktail party. Love that girl!...

The result of getting your finger stuck in a drawer. Poor guy...

The result of my decision to let the kids go crazy with homemade playdoh. Beck kept putting chunks in his mouth, wincing at how salty it was and spitting it out. What didn't end up in his mouth, ended up everywhere else!...

Back to March.
Lunch with Katie and the kids at Seaport Village!

I found this in Elle's folder at school...

Zoo with Grandma Wanda!...

Ah, my sweet, persistent, smart, whiney, funny, kind hearted almost 3 year old. She came running out of her room at nap time crying and pointing to her room so I went in to find a big black spider scurrying across her quilt. I ran to get a tissue and she said, "I no want him to sleep with me!!" And "see ya!" (with attitude) as he was flushed down. Recently, while looking for the owee on her knee (which had completely healed) she shrugged her shoulders and said "guess he went to see his family!" She's still crazy about The Fresh Beat Band and will dance around the living room to 'Loco Legs' until she wears herself out.

We are so spoiled with the weather here. Another beautiful day at SeaWorld...

Singing "ring around the rosie pop goes the weasel"...

Well, we had a solid 3 weeks without either kid being sick but our luck ran out. The drippy nose doesn't seem to phase Beck. He's powering through it on those wobbly little legs of his. He is walking more than crawling now and gaining confidence by the hour. He thinks toilets are pretty cool and he's dug in every plant in this house. Destroying 2 last week. All with a big smile wiped across his face. I think we've been blessed with the happiest boy in the world.

My mom has been house hunting down here and after months and months of searching, she found the one and is in escrow! Zach's parents also bought a condo in SD and we are thrilled to have grandparents closer. Some of my fondest memories are ones with my Grandma. Beck and Ellery wont realize it until they're older, but they are living a charmed life indeed.

Making a birthday banner for Grandma Wanda's 60th Birthday!...

Happy Birthday Mom!!...

Ice cream cake was, not surprisingly, a big hit with Beck...

I doubt ice cream cake and the playground was how you envisioned bringing in your 6th decade. Marla and I have something in the works to celebrate the big six-o, sans kids...
