We've had a rough couple of days. First of all Elle's teething and that's never much fun. Her 5th tooth came in a few days ago and the 6th is making it's way through. Yesterday morning she dropped a glass and metal lid on her foot which left her screaming while her big toe swelled up a bit and bruised. I know, mom's fault for letting her in the pots and pans. Then we ran back and forth between my dentist and oral surgeon's office because apparently they have poor communication. Thank goodness I still had Grandma Kathy with me! After I dropped her off at the airport, I locked my keys and phone in the car in a parking lot. (I did have Elle out, phew!) I used a stranger's phone and while we waited for AAA, Elle had a massive poop she had to sit in. We finally got home and she did a major face plant into the hardwood floor and cut open her upper lip. It was one of those days you couldn't wait to end. We woke up this morning and I told her we were going to have a better day today. Not even a half hour later she's crawling over pillows and starts crying and I noticed her whole arm went limp and she wouldn't use it for anything. Took her in and she slowly started lifting her arm in the waiting room but not without tears. The doctor said she's got Nursemaid's Elbow which I wasn't familiar with. I guess it's pretty common in children 1-3 years old. Especially in girls (yep) and in their left arm (yep). Basically it's a partially dislocated elbow. Our pediatrician thinks I popped it back in place while putting her in her car seat. Also common.

Here's hoping the rest of today is better than the last 24 hours.

We went to a friends wedding last Saturday but Elle was more interested in her snacks than anything else...

Sunday we took Kathy to the Concerts in the Park. Always fun...

Looks like Grandma isn't the only fan of Fairy Food...

She also became a fan of momma's smoothies...

...and there were lots of them. I had 3 teeth extracted last Tuesday which is why Kathy was here. I had these "extra teeth" trying to push their way through my exposed teeth. Not cool. I have been putting this surgery off for almost 2 years because of pregnancy and breastfeeding. It was definitely time. My mouth is a big stitched up mess but with some good drugs and Grandma, we made it through. Kathy was a HUGE help! From the recovery package, to diaper changes, to painting our pantry doors- Thank you for everything Kathy!!

Once I was feeling better we made it to the zoo...

A nearby park...

And a few more pics of my girl.
Not this girl...

This one!...

I think there's a few more on daddy's camera. I'll upload soon. Bye for now!
