I got a little nostalgic when my weekly updates from Baby Center went from "your baby this week" to "your toddler this week". Hard to believe our baby is one. I'm pretty sure this is our last child (Zach is positive it is) so I'm trying to soak up every ounce of "baby" left. Besides, compared to Ellery, Beck is 2 kids rolled into one. This child is taking his little world by the horns and I'm lucky if I can catch up before he destroys it. Which is partly to blame for my blogging absence. There isn't a whole lot of down-time with this boy. His naps are short and when he's up, he's up and running.
Did I mention, he also melts my heart.

She's back! She moved her nest to a tree branch 5 ft away from last years spot. It's really fascinating to watch her search, build, incubate, and eventually feed and care for her babies. Kinda like what us mommies do but without all of the whining...
