This was Ellery's first time at the beach. About 4 months ago she shoved a huge handful of sand in her mouth then started gagging profusely so I thought we'd wait until the "I'm going to put everything in my mouth" phase had passed. And it has, for the most part. I was excited about taking her this summer but with all of our cloudy days it kept being postponed. Until Now!...

This new rug arrived for the playroom while Elle was napping and when she woke up I took her in to see it. She squirmed to get out of my arms and laid down on her belly for quite a while. The only thing that got her up was hearing the words "lunch is ready!"...
Our neighbor, Susanna, was in a fashion show last weekend. I wasn't sure if Ellery would sit through it but thankfully they had a plethora of cookies so she was content on my lap...
