NorCal

Elmo's first flight...

Jordan wanted to take a picture when we arrived in Auburn. It's the only time I'm aware of when she wanted to be behind the camera! I was the same way at her age...

We spent all day Friday at Shana and James'. I was excited to see their new place but that came second to meeting little Avery. I took so many pictures. I guess I was trying to make up for the 9 months it took me to get up there...

Yes Avery, it's really me!...

And Zach!...

I love this little girl!...

Miss my girls already...

The other reason for heading up to NorCal was for a family reunion on my mom's side. It was so great getting to see everyone. Some family I hadn't seen in years. A big thanks to Marla for putting it all together!...

The 6 cousins. We tried recreating this shot we had taken in this park back in '93?

My cousin Andra with 1 of her 3, Ethan...

My cousin Nicole with 2 of her 3, Daelyn and Adrie...

Gram and Gramps! It was also my Grandma's 84th birthday. Happy Birthday Gram!...

On our way to Tahoe with my mom and Oreo face...

Ellery could sit in the swings all day. I'll ask if she's all done and she signs "more" every single time...

So Grandma joined in...

I think we went to the park every day but one. Ellery was completely out of sorts while we were in Tahoe. And that's putting it lightly. I have never seen her so crabby. There were moments when she was just inconsolable and the swings were the only sure thing to put a smile on her face, so we became regulars to the park. I think it was a combination of being out of her routine, waking up in new places every couple days and those darn teeth keep pushing their way through. She was so much more fun to be around once we got back to SD. Those teeth have woken her up (and us) a few times but overall she's back to her lovely self.

Squaw Valley...

A full moon rising over the lake...
